Dubai Airport is huge and extremely artificial. Just as artificial as boring, since all you can do is shopping. Care for a bottle of super special Johnny Walker for US$ 400? I don’t.

breakfast
Posted in Darmstadt, Germany on October 30, 2007 by JanThe last Vinschgauer for three months went down my throat this morning. Last time I checked they only had white bread in Australia. Toast that could easily be compressed manually to resemble Norwegian flatbrød – a procedure that didn’t make the bread taste any better but was kind of amusing. That was in 1999. Rumor has it that there is a larger selection of bread types available nowadays, and that stores for organic food have spread out. My dear readers will be amongst the first to know wether this holds true or not.
starting a blog is easy
Posted in Germany, Stuttgart on October 23, 2007 by JanKeeping it alive probably isn’t. But I have yet to make this experience.
This is my second last night in Stuttgart. I will move my stuff to my parents’ place the day after tomorrow, stay there for a few days and then head towards Australia. A weekend full of good bye celebration lies ahead. Then 30 hours of travel. Stay tuned.
